Coordinated Admissions

Every council has a duty to publish schemes which set out the administrative arrangements to be followed for the co-ordination of applications for admission each September.

For admissions to secondary schools, coordination  arrangements must cover all applicants living in the area of the local authority even though one or more of their preferences may include schools outside of the local authority.

Changing schools 

Changing schools in the middle of the year. Mid-year applications are when you apply to transfer your child from school to another during the school year.
